Look Like A Dress

If you need to attend a Holiday Event and prefer a skirt and top or feel more comfortable in pants and top, we have you covered!

Rayon Crepe is a great choice for this look.  Suggestion:  Black Rayon Crepe, 211-7 or Dark Red Rayon Crepe, 0512-10 both available on this site. Essential is a soft, drapey fabric such as rayon crepe.

To complete the skirt look, try any of Loes' skirts with some flair - Tango, Swing, or even the Gore Skirt, all Loes Hinse Design patterns. Or try a newer pattern, The Sarong Skirt, Loes Hinse Studio. All of these skirt patterns are available on this site.

To use pants, the Hepburn or Basic Pleat are great choices for a soft, fuller leg. Loes also has made the Oxford pant using rayon crepe.

For your top, try a tank top using the Tank Dress Pattern, Loes Hinse Design, or the Sicilian Top, Loes Hinse Studio. Making the longer view of the Sicilian would be smashing.  Or for another option with sleeves, try the Bergman, Loes Hinse Design. All of these patterns available on this site.

Wear with a great jacket, shawl, or alone. And don't forget some great jewelry and shoes!

Going on a cruise after the holidays, the above garments will give you a headstart on your cruise wardrobe!

Great Cardigan Jacket

By Sharon Lyon
on December 02, 2012

 Black/Blue Gray Chunky Knit, 712-2

This great heavy knit is a great cardigan type jacket choice. Black with blue/gray, the ribbed knit is heavy and quite stretchy. Stabilizing is recommended. But the end result is worth the extra effort!

Use cardigan in Sweater Set or cardiganized Biarritz, If you have attended a Carmel Seminar and as a result got the Princess Jacket pattern - use that! Loes included a white Cap Sleeve Tank and black pants in this photo.

White Sweaters Are Always A Good Choice

Can't have too many basics! This sweater is sewn using the Bianca Sweater Pattern available on this website. Can use any knit for this. Fabric in photo is 729-15.

Mix it with the new Black Pinstripe, 912-2, a beautiful poly/rayon blend with a "close together" (1/4") subtle pinstripe. Hepburn pants, Loes Hinse Design, is a good choice or any pant pattern.

JUST A REMINDER....ALL LOES HINSE PATTERNS ARE NOW TO BE PURCHASED ON THIS WEBSITE!
